With over 23 years of dedicated service in education, Mr. Daub brings a wealth of experience, passion, and leadership to Mill Creek Elementary School. He is thrilled to join the Mill Creek team as Principal, where he looks forward to fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and student success.
Before joining Mill Creek, Mr. Daub served as Principal of the Orange County Public Schools (OCPS) Academic Center for Excellence (ACE) in Orlando, Florida—a Pre-K through 8th grade community partnership school serving approximately 1,000 students. Under his leadership, ACE saw a remarkable 110-point increase on state assessments, driven by hands-on, interactive, and content-focused classrooms that empowered students to thrive daily.
Prior to ACE, Mr. Daub led Catalina Elementary School from February 2016 to June 2021 and Castle Creek Elementary School from August 2012 to January 2016.
Beyond his school leadership, Mr. Daub is a respected voice in educational advocacy and professional development:
- Florida State Representative for the National Association of Elementary School Principals (NAESP)
- Past State President of the Florida Association of School Administrators (FASA)
- 2021 Finalist for OCPS Principal of the Year
- 2018 NAESP National Distinguished Principal for Florida
